Dr. Williams who has dedicated his life for the welfare of underprivileged, marginalized and downtrodden communities in India through Myrtle Social Welfare Network. Together with Mrs. Saral Shanthini Williams, he started Myrtle Social Welfare network and has successfully run it through its ups and downs for the past 20 years, touching and changing the lives of many individuals from all categories. Mr. Williams was given an Honorary Degree Doctorate in Humanity by Universal Press Media Education Vidyapith for his dedication, investment and development of the society in 2022. Myrtle now stands as a symbol of hope to the needy and Dr. Williams has been a key instrument in creating positive changes in his society.

Mrs. J.Saral Williams - MA, MSW, M.EdManaging Trustee

Mrs. J Saral Shanthini a professional social worker highly accomplished person in the field of Social Work. She was moved to work for the society from a very young age and constructed her educational background in such a manner. She has a wide range of experience in project management, capacity building, monitoring and evaluation of programs in the development sector for more than ten years. She is a specialist in conceptualizing and designing capacity building programs for children in the areas of health, child rights, development, hygiene, HIV/ AIDS, etc. She has conducted several workshops on BCC for HIV/AIDS and creative methodologies such as puppetry, street theatre etc. She has contributed to the growth and development of every organization and community that she has been a part of. Some organizations that she has served are Action Aid International India, Help a Child India, Child Fund India (Tamil Nadu & Karnataka), International Justice Mission, etc. Myrtle is the brainchild of Mrs. Saral Shanthini, it was her dreams, which paved way for the birth of Myrtle, solely aiming to work for the community and bring upliftment to the marginalized, exploited and underprivileged communities in India.

Mr. Marianathan - M.Com, MBATrustee

Mr. Marianathan A, is the Director of Gremaltes Hospital since 2020, which does remarkable service in the field of Leprosy and Tuberculosis. With M.Com., and MBA degrees he has more than 40 years of experience.

He served as Bursar and Treasurer of Lady Doak College in Madurai, for the past two year. He was the Finance and Corporate Affairs Director for ten years, Help A Child of India a Netherlands supported international non-governmental organisation. For fifteen years he worked for the eradication of Leprosy as Chief Finance Officer in Damien Foundation India Trust, a Belgium based international organization. He served Church of South India Trust Association as Accounts Manager for property and Finance. He is the Director of Kodaikanal International school, Finance committee member in SLTRI Karigiri Hospital Vellore, Treasurer of Low Cost through Holistic Health care, and also served as the co-opted member in CMC Vellore.

He has held highest offices in the LIONS club International District 324 A6, for more than 20 years.

Mrs. Sneha Fernandez - MA SociologyTrustee

Ms. Fernandez is a Life Skills Trainer, Motivational Speaker and an Instructional Designer. She is keenly passionate about creating a transformation in people through her workshops. She is a Certified Trainer and Facilitator from IATD, Chennai and the British Council.

Sneha holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and has more than 15 years of experience as a verbal, communication, behavioural and soft skills trainer. Sneha has been associated with many IT companies and colleges and she is extremely knowledgeable and result driven. She is an excellent communicator with a passion to work with people. In her experience as a corporate trainer, she has designed, delivered and assessed the impact of all life skills related training programs to 6000 employees in organisations like Cognizant Technology Solutions, Infosys, HCL, US Global , the Tamil Nadu Police, the Ministry of Human Resources & Development and several others.
